Restrict maintain authorization to a specific table – S_TABU_NAM

I had discussed about S_TABU_NAM authorization object in some of my earlier posts already. I am a big fan of S_TABU_NAM authorization object, since I need not create custom authorization groups any more to restrict authorization for a specific table.

I’ve implemented this solution for USR40 table by adding Activity 03, and DICBERCLS value as SUSR.
Also, I’ve added the S_TABU_NAM authorization object with Activity 02, and 03 and table USR40

Now the user who has access to the role has Display access to all the tables under SUSR group, but maintain only USR40.
