RSCUSTV23 is a transaction code in BI 7.0 that is used to enable “Analysis Authorizations”. However, SAP introduced a new concept of authorizations that are mandatory in BI 7.3, so RSCUSTV23 transaction code is obsolete and no more available. Means, there is no Analysis Authorization switch in BI 7.3.
Analytics Security Objects (ASO):
These are the new type of Authorizations in BI 7.3, which replaces “Analysis Authorizations”. The authorization objects S_RS_ICUBE, S_RS_MPRO, S_RS_ISET and S_RS_ODSO will no longer be checked during query processing. Instead, the check is performed using special characteristics 0TCAIPROV, 0TCAACTVT and 0TCAVALID.
How to enable ASO:
Analytics Security Objects are mandatory in BI 7.3 and are enabled by default. There is no switch to enable/disable these authorizations.
Migrating Analysis Authorizations to ASO:
If you are migrating from BI 7.0, you may use the migration tool in RSECADMIN.
