Issue – The Branding option under SAP GUI 730 -> Visual Design might be grayed out after installing SAP GUI 730 and you were not allowed to select a Branding image as shown in the below screen shot:
Cause – This is not an issue and by default this feature is set to Read-only mode.
Solution – This can be enabled easily by changing the Registry entries. Detailed steps on enabling this featured was discussed in the SAP Note 1669254 – SAP GUI 7.30: Branding image in titlebar.
For those who hesitate modifying the registry or not good at registry tweaking, use the below tweaking files. These allows to enable/disable the Branding option easily. (Read Readme_First.txt file before you use the files.)
Once the Branding option is enabled, you can select an image file (Recommended size is 160 X 27) as shown in the below screen shot:
Click Apply and you can see the branding as below in the logon screen and the SAP Easy Access Screen:
NOTE: Incase if you wish to disable the branding options again, use the disable tweaking files.
